YAMATOMAYA is a Tokyo based DJ and producer whose music fuses elements of classical and house genres. Incorporating string instruments such as violins and cellos, her compositions leave a deep emotional impression.

Rooted in her background in classical ballet and inspired by house and dance music, she has forged a distinctive progressive house trance sound — establishing herself as Japan’s most influential female progressive house and trance artist.

#8 in Asia and #1 in Japan in DJMAG’s official DJane Mag Asia Top 40, held in London.
